Dolphins chew on pufferfish to get a dose of a neurotoxin called tetrodotoxin. This neurotoxin would be fatal in large amounts, but the dolphins are careful not to swallow the pufferfish. Instead, they take small doses and pass the pufferfish around to one another just like a joint.

Lemurs usually eat fruit, but they also take rips off of millipedes. Millipedes secrete a cocktail of toxins from their legs when their defensive instincts kick in. The Lemurs take a microdose of this concoction and enter a tranquil state while drooling. They also rub the toxins all over their fur. Humans speculate that Lemurs do this to keep bugs out of their hair.
5) Koalas get baked.
